I assume you have checked the heater element with a meter?
If not you should get approx 25ohms with a good one.
If the pressure chamber and transfer pipe to the sump have been clogged up this can starve the flow and cause the heater to fail etc
Have you followed the burnt tracks back to the machine component that it
connects to as this can be the culprit…..Thanks CJA – the burnt out pcb connection was on the heater relay, so will follow your advice and do resistance check on the heater element. if it needs a new heater unit I assume I’m bu*!ered because that doesn’t look easy to get to.

OP mentioned how he checked the wiring etc for the water heater. I have the same model and water is not heating up during the wash cycle so am assuming also an issue with the water heater – my first question is – how do I find it? Where is it located in this model?
Appreciate any help.Hi Bisch – I have similar problem and started thread this week but no response so far. When I ran diagnostics it indicated that flow (aqua) sensor was duff, therefore no power put through to heater element. Have you run a test through the control panel?
