thanks heaps KIWI, i took the module to the 501 machine and followed your instructions to reset temp, it works! but i am not done yet, the machine seems not to remember the setting after turning the wall power off then on again. How to get it remembered the new setting? PLEASE RESCUE!

Thank you Kiwi, i entered diag mode, nothing wrong. by pressing temp down, cold valve works like normal one. but under normal operation mode, cold valve voltage deceased to 0v after a while. i found hot valve was alwalys powered with 8v when i just used “cold” wash option, this caused hot valve very hot. Rinse works as usual( cold valve 12v and hot valve 0v when doing cold wash).
would you please teach me how to modify the temp setting? i’ve swap display panel with another smart drive 501 machine, nothing changed.

thank you, I’ve measured the valve voltages, it did have volt(12v) on cold valve when just start the “cold” machine, then voltage decreased gradually to 0v in a few seconds. if i powered off the machine and start again, voltage is always 0v now. but when i Advance to rinse, voltage is normal and machine works as usual.
so i would say the valve is ok but control signal from the board is abnormal. just wonder if this fault could be reset? it might be somewhere in the service manual that mentions how to set water temperature things? anyone who has manual please help.

Hi alexa, thank you for your help. still playing w my lw015, after POWER on, press START/PAUSE, machine wont start but beeping with fourth washing led flashing, ie 00010000, is it the actual “fault code”? whats that mean? it is different from the one i got by diag mode. cheers.

Hi Alexa, thank you very much. just wondering if I’ve got real fault code due to the following reasons:
before entering the diagnostic mode, machine was not entirely off since five lights(long wash to short wash) still on. when entered the diagnostic mode,machine did not have 2 short beep and high water level light is on all the time.
can I ask do those affect the accuracy of diagnostics?

thank you for diag info. washer is LW015, console lights up but no action after hit START/PAUSE. By following your instruction, the level3 code is 10000100.
also some other lights appear on except the progress lights. what i’ve done on the machine is: i tried to diagnose it by TEMP DOWN and POWER, but didn’t press ADVANCE, then machine wont turn off with 3 lights(rinse,final rinse and spin) flashing all the time. don’t remember what i did then(maybe try to reset by START/PAUSE and POWER), now machine wont turn off with the other 5 lights on(long wash to short wash) all the time.
please help.
