Thank you for that. You have confirmed my worst fears. I have not fixed it yet because i am escaping the English winter but i will get right onto it in March.

all too common is that its just been gunked up with sweetcorn/baked bean shells, plastic/foil wrap or rice…

The first thing i checked was that the pipe leading to the upper arm and the arm were absolutely clear. It is definitely the distributor valve in the heater box. How do i get it out?
