    ive just had another closer look and in fact its blown the track off

    thanks for that,is it worth putting the small resistor back,i have already replaced one which i thought was damaged,prob same rating. I only ask as it seems the board is sort of working as when the washer is going,you can hear the relays clicking,motor working as it should,etc. Its only beginning it starts to fill then empties,cheers
