ParticipantRe: Diplomat ADP 8224 Dishwasher E3 error
Hi Tony
From memory (a sleep deprived one at that!) I seem to recall everything being in the door panel. If you remove the front panel you can then remove the screws which hold the internal cover on and take this out. I remember that the cables could all be removed as they all had plugs on. The PCB could then be taken out, the relay replaced and all put back together. In total it only took me about 20 minutes to sort it.
Good luck!

I’m quite handy with a soldering iron so I should be able to handle replacing the relay… But could you give me a hint as to where the PCB is located and how to access it? Is it in the door or within the body of the machine? Any hint as to what panels to remove, appreciated greatly.
cheers,

Hi Penguin45
Sorry its taken me so long to get around to replying. Thank you for your advice – found a bit of chaffing on some wires were it goes through the metal and taped these up. Also found a small split in the door seal by the door catch – water seemed to be spraying across the contacts. Only happened on higher temp washes because the soap foamed up more and created a little high pressure area which forced the water out.
Thanks again.
