    As for your query:

I have known engineers remove the labels if the item is unrepairable and therefore scrap. This may be the case in question.

Possible but I know the background and where it was on display in kitchen showroom before it went into storage. My problem is without no user guide I have not even powered it up as there is so many buttons.

don wrote:Sounds like you have a compact appliance which will be multi function. The all important ENR and FD number is usually found on the bottom left of the cavity when the door is opened. It is also on the rear usually in the middle towards the base, it will consist of the barcode as well.

You can post picture links which have been hosted on other sites like Google pics etc. A picture link to the fascia could be helpful.

    Don

Thanks Don. I will try and get the picture on somehow, There is no numbers anywhere which is strange.
hopefully this picture link will work:- https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipPJ0LkcypRNqmOdE8ZuEcLMxykIEGJxTid6coN6

a lot of these fans are controlled by a printed circuit board. if it is a board controlled fan its likely the board is faulty

    Dave

Thanks Dave. You are correct I have one to many 4s the correct number “444445489”. Guessing the cost of a printed circuit board and labour to fit as its in a caravan where gas registered engineers (bottled gas) are remote so travel time cost (x 2 trips) + time on the job will make it uneconomical to repair.
