ParticipantRe: Whirlpool ADG 7540 not completing wash cycle
Hi Pengy,
I tried replacing the NTC, but the this doesn’t seem to make a lot of difference. Unless the replacement part I ordered is faulty, (measures about 40 kOhm) I am now further on.
With the old component the wash seemed to get 3/4 to completion, but since replacement the wash shuts down after about 20 mins to 1/2 hour.
I’ve tried putting the original part back in, but it hasn’t returned to the original 3/4 completion …… but the latter ….Any additional clues here….?
Thanks again,Inzy

The resistance reading on the thermistor is 68 kOhms.
Bit high possibly?
I assume when you said KOhms Pengy you meant 1-10, not as high as 68?Re drain hoses, the DW workied fine until four weeks ago and seems to drain freely. I made sure there were no blockages….
but thanks Cookerman.

The start lamp blinks on and off, there is an an audible intermittent beep while the programme resets iteself to a rinse cycle.
