    Re: Hotpoint EW84K oven fault

My better half decided not to spend any more money on it and today we went to Currys and bought an AEG 49002VMN cooker getting delivered tomorrow.
I appreciate you taking the time to reply and all your help.
    Seasons greetings.
    John.

    Re: Hotpoint EW84K oven fault

    Thanks for that.
An update, tonight my wife was cooking with the main oven and F01 appeared in the display…I had a look and the fan at the rear of the oven…the one surrounded by the circular element wasn’t turning…I presume this is the one that assists in circulating the heat throughout the oven as in “Fan Assisted”…could this be the reason for the fault and the error display?
Can you tell me what F01 in the display signifies?

    Re: Hotpoint EW84K oven fault

This afternoon I removed both oven elements and measured them, the circular element around the fan measures 31.7 ohms and the one screwed to the oven top measures 23.9 ohms so they’re both okay.
Anyone care to point the finger at another likely suspect then?

They were my first port of call and it was them who told me the cover is now obsolete,
Thanks for taking the time to reply. 🙂

    Re: Triton T80 Shower

Thanks Don, tried them yesterday…they gave me the bad news that it was obsolete…I was hoping someone coming across my request would maybe have the part in stock and like to get rid of it.
