    All though the wiring/terminal blocks looked intact, one conducter had broken withinn the terminal block at the NTC end, repaired and happily washing away now 😛

    Can I take it from the lack of responses that I have a rare fault!

    Taking it further, is the part fitted to the rear of the hot water fill an electronic valve? or some crude temperature sensor?

    I’m guessing its a valve, regardless the fault occurs regardless of this being connected.

    Time for further testing
