Hello, an update; The dryer worked fine for a day then the water light came back on, I popped up last night and opened up the float chamber – the rubber pump impeller was knackered and snapped. £5.99 replacement ordered. Thanks again for all your help

Thanks Dave, I haven’t checked the bottom tank for water, looking at it now I’m wondering do I need to remove the complete back panel to gain access

Brilliant help thanks, I have an intermittent float sensor illuminating the empty tank sign I take it this is what is shutting the element off

do you have any advice on fixing the float sensor?

Dave & Iadom thank you very much

Iadom when you mention the stat located in the very top of the white plastic drum front support frame are you talking about the closed door switch? Does this also trigger the heater element? As mentioned the dryer runs as normal the only difference is zero heat

Hi Dave thank you for the reply

    The model number is CDN7000P(UK)

You are spot on it has a mechanical timer, I did as you mentioned and ran it loaded on a long cycle cut no joy.

There is no empty water light as far as I know, I will check the level tonight and top it up.

    Thanks once again
