the inportant thing for me is where the pin labelled goes to . I can see the whole board and io cant see the other side so i cant read the connector number. what i need to know is why these resistors blew and then we know if we replace them or the board they wont blow again

You are right. R2 is blown too but we will be able to read it apparently and that is why I didn’t mention it at all. What I need now are the values of the other resistors – R1 and R3 to try and replace them. Then we’ll see what happens and what’s next.

ParticipantI can’t give you too much info on the connections I’m afraid. What I know is that it all started with no heating (everything was fine apart from no heating), then the heating element got changed (as it was supposedly the reson of the failure) but it appeared later, after the check from an electrician that it was all good apparently. Anyway, after the heating element got changed the dryer suddenly stopped working at all. At first it was working fine although there was still no heating. Then it suddenly like snapped. Turned itself off completely. I don’t know if it was because of the new heating element or just coincidence. We are trying to repair it now. My electrician found these burnt resistors and that’s where we want to start. Not sure if changing them makes it any better but that’s the only obvious thing that can be done right now.
Going back to the details of the board and resistors, if zooming the pics would be enough for you to see all you need to see then the best way is to save the pics to your pc and open them in your photo viewing app. Then you should have a much better zoom. If you want me to send them to another hosting site then let me know, please.
