    Thanks Andy and Dave, really helpful. Will make some calls and then decide whether to invest in trying to repair, or replacement.

    Thanks, will ask a local engineer to quote for a visit. Information on my choice of possible replacements is much appreciated, cheers.

    Cold water feed; heater worked in the short wash programme before it tripped, as the water left in the machine was warm.
