Re: My new washing machine is totally unsuitable for my need

Tbanks again for your reply, must just say the aforesaid washload of towels bathmat underware etc. is all cotton, all with the same wash label, I do read them, don’t see the problem,, even the hated new machine on it’s one and only use did this load fine, only problem it took 3 hours, was sunny outisde when I started could have got it dry, 3 hours later dark skys. Incidently If I split the load into 2 smaller ones what would be the point?

Everyone has their own way of doing things I am old fashioned true, but I just want to get the darned washing out of the way, change my bedding, towels underware and clothes on a Monday and see the end of it. but I don’t want to be chasing washing from down to dusk.

As for the machine you quoted me, I have been using my son’s similar WMF740 while he was between flats, great machine, couldn’t fault it, but he wants it back.. I want brand new one just like it, am I asking for the Moon?

Re: My new washing machine is totally unsuitable for my need

Thanks for your reply, I can’t find a WM 76 to buy online, any ideas where I can find one?

I do need a 8kg load – Typical load for me – 2 large bath sheets, 4 hand towels, large thick fluffy bath mat, any spare space would be filled up with underware etc. Like to fill up and get it done, would never use half loads, never got any.

Best machine I ever owned was 1972 Indesit lasted 15 years and did the job required of it.
