So it seems like water heater malfunction can confuse the programmes on the timmer switch please advise if you think it can be fixed with changing water heater otherwise its not worth spending due to the age of the machine thanking you jaeediWell then the heating elements will need testing with an insulation tester at the very least. Judging by its age I’m sure that that is your problem. AND sadly when one element goes down, the others follow suit. So you will need them all replacing and that in itself is very costly. 😀
Hi Martin Thanks For Your Help Its Better Not To Put my Good Money On The Sinking Ship Regards

I suspect the 4 way water inlet valve is open circuit to at least one of the coils? Another problem could be with the water heater and/or the dryer heaters? This elderly machine will need careful consideration towards the affectiveness of any future repairs. 😕
hi martin the interlock switch seems to be working with my little opperation or semi working because the front orange light is on and tumble drier is also working but as you said water heater could be the right diagnoses as durring the few weeks of J wash only machine was not heating water but tumble dry on T1 and T2 was producing heat which i felt on the glass door. So it seems like water heater malfunction can confuse the programmes on the timmer switch please advise if you think it can be fixed with changing water heater otherwise its not worth spending due to the age of the machine thanking you jaeedi

When you say the interlock was “blown”, what exactly did you mean? Had it really blown as the word implies?
Hi thanks for replying the interlock switch was supplied by ukwhitegoods a pattern part 4 terminal exactly same but it has one clip connecting to end terminal which clicks and send message whearas old one had two clips(similar to flexi hair clips) when i put the switch on the machine it started blowing the 13amp fuse in the main plugs so i have to open the switch and discovered it only had one clip so i added one more which sits on the top end and connects to the middle terminal from the old burnt part(mix and matched sort of thing to make it look like original one) .The story on the previous part was that i repaired one of the clip inside with solder iron which was broken it worked for few months perfectly with the soldering but eventually burnt or blown so i have to order new one through the ukwhitegoods the pattern part which only worked with additional clip for few weeks on J wash as i have explained in my previous mail please advise many thanks
