Participantk i cannot see a reset button, i cannot uplaods any photos due to being out of limit quota even for 1 small photo, the make and model number is Diplomat APM 8620, is it repairable or is it cheaper to just to replace it? I have had it for 14 years now.
Thank you.jaguarxjsport

ParticipantRe: Diplomat APM6842 freezer defrosts on its own!
Hi there Bob, it would appear that the switch was on constantly,I have now switched it off. I was told that it was cold ech time I was away so I am not sure if it made a difference or not or if the switch is broken. I will see what happens now I have switched it off. Any more help would be appreciated.
Many thanks.

Once I clean it all out it carries on as normal, it starts to freeze as it should do. I just don’t know why it self defrosts.
Looks like no one knows why!
Please help.
