Well I replaced the triac and blown resistors but the origional short must have still been there as the same thing happend again tripped the electric so I give up.
Not worth a new board as I don’t know where the short is and the same could happen to the new board so a new dryer it is!

Thanks for the reply Dave and you were right about the two resistors I have just tested them. However If I can get the correct triac I would like to try an replace it along with two new resistors and take it from there. Any idears on how to get the right triac?
