    Ran a dry cycle successfully, then ran another with some stuff in, it’s started failing again, and again it’s released water when it shouldn’t.

    I am going to ring Hotpoint tomorrow, thanks a lot for your help particularly as its Easter Sunday!

    Ok thanks I will try that.

    I just ran a drain and spin cycle, it failed again half way through and was full of water, which is odd as I didn’t think a drain and spin would do that?

    We don’t use the dryer very often, certainly haven’t for a few weeks. It’s just happened again half way through a cycle so will probably call an engineer out. Is it worth trying to clean the filters or something?

    Thanks so much that worked a treat. Now I’ve got it open and the water out it seems to be working now.

    Any idea why it starting failing? As its happened once I assume it’s likely to happen again?
