    Re: Whirlpool ADP 6515 Disher

    Thanks Pengiun for the reply
I think it has something to do in the pump circuit / cycle as just after the sounds have been made you can hear the dishpowder lid opening in the dishwasher

Do you know how to do diagnostic testing on this mode and how to get into it
    Thanks

Re: Fisher & Paykel GW501 Beeping

    Thanks Penguin
Im just doing some more tests on the machine at present
Looking through the inspection plate on the front bottom of the machine all I can see is the pump unit and the stator unit ,unable to see anything
that I can get my hands onto.
I looked at diagram somewhere and it appears the whole outer shell of the machine does not lift off as one unit, only the top part with the cntrol panel attached and you appear to then be looking down at the bowl and attachments
also I noticed during these testing wash cycles ,when it stops and beeps it is always on the led before the short wash. You can pwer off and restart and start cycle from where it stopped and seems to go through ok after that, very strange problem.

    Thanks again for the help

Re: Fisher & Paykel GW501 Beeping

    Thanks for the info Penguin
I noticed when it beeped i was doing a load with the water level adjusted to high.
I ahve also checked the prssure hose where it connected onto the motor controller unit up top and it appear there is a blue plastic tube insiade the clear plastic tube, does the blue inner tube fit into the motor controller and the clear tube and clips fits over it to secure the pressur pipe. I can blow doen the tube ok and does not appearv to have any kink or sharps bends in it.
I went through the various wash cycles ok but the machine stopped on the led before the short wash led and continued to beep until I turned the machine off and on again.
    Diagnostics showed a 00010000 code .
The machine seemed to go through correctly when I did a wash adnwater level was on low and the one on medium appeared to complete ok.

To access the rrps sensor does the cabinet outer shell have to be removed and is this simple enough in a confined room
    Many thanks again

    Thanks for the reply Penguin
How easy is it to access the rps unit inside the machine, andwhat is the procedure for accessing it and dismantling the faulty unit.
The motor controller board has recently been repaired and has been going well up till now.
When the machine starts beeping I just power off the unit at the wall and then on again, advance the wash to near the final rinse and seems to complete ok then.
I have noticed that on regaular wash setting the machine is set to medium fill, but when it sometimes beeps and I open the lid the bowl is nearly full of water up to the top high level, very puzzled by the whole thing.
Many thanks for all the help so far

Re: Fisher & Paykel GW501 Beeping

Sorry about that the fault has reocurred
Checked diagnostics and it is a 130 code
Seems as it gets through most of the washing and sits there beeping with the led on short wash
I stop the machine ,turn off power and restart and advance washing through to say short wash and somes works, sometimes does not
Any advise would be much appreciated
    Tahnks

Re: Fisher & Paykel GW501 Beeping

    Hi Again
I rechecked the code this morning on my GW501 F7P washer and now in diagnostic mode I Now have leds 10000010 on and this would mean a code 130.

I have lifted the lid while machine is filling by holding in lid sensor switch and can can see the bowl slowly rotating,so this means the motor is working in able to turn this around.

Rechecked the control module and all appears ok there.

Now through prevoius views in other parts of this forum it appears as a code 130 is the Rotor Position Sensor.

How is this checked and how do you get access to the sensor to be able to adjust it etc.

    Tahnks again for your help
