    Many thanks for all your suggestions and apologies for my delay in getting back – I’m pondering the options, as given my limited skills in this area – it looks to be more complicated than I thought, I was hoping it was just a matter of resealing the heater.

    Hi Kaibart,

    I’ll double check condenser and fan, as I could have missed some – as the amount of lint we took out was incredible – almost a towel in itself!

    As I’m pulling the machine out and opening it – I want to replace the gooey/sticky sealant/gasket at the same time – any idea what it is – or what else I could use please?

    I was thinking of using something like Vital Black RTV Gasket Maker (85gm) from Machine Mart (Temperature Resistant 315ÂșC) – but not sure if this is suitable?

    Apologies, entered the model in wrong;

    The correct model number is; WDXA C6852B-80
    not as per my post title WDXA C68562B-80
