Actually it’s very helpful to have these kind of problems recorded somewhere so thanks very much. My Samsung Side-by-Side jobby is doing a very similar thing to yours I believe. Temperature in the freezer fluctuates widely over the day according to the door panel (from -10C to +8C). However, the thermometer I have put in the freezer myself suggests it’s telling porkies. Whatever the situation, it’s only freezing food placed in the lower drawers/

Trawling the boards for similar problems so I can educate myself ahead of the soul destroying call to Samsung “Customer Services”.
