Just had the enginner around to replace the rear board. The ice maker and front light was still clicking. I really did need to replace both boards. Whirlpool have agreed to meet the cost which is really nice of them. On Another note, I hear that Whirlpool have been referred to the OFT for their service practice and spares cost. These boards cost around £4 each. The price fixing on service and spares amounts to a cartel. I guess we will see what happens. Thanks for the advice.

I have a S25BRS331.. and have had this problem several times each time an engineers replaces the main board for £180 quid!!. This is a known problem with the S25 and Whirlpool pretent that it isn’t. I have had to book another service call 6 months after it was last repaired.

My fridge 858616615010 110309016576 Does this have the upgraded electronics? any help would be apprecaited.
