    Late Hijack.
I had the same problem, but with the ‘Check Water’ light lit – water spilled when tilted, reset machine, checked there was water flow & this appeared to solve the problem so didn’t look for a leak. But after a couple of cycles, the same problem occurred – pump continuously running, ‘Check Water’ light lit, then suddenly a brief grinding noise and the low level ‘buzz of death’ which I take to mean a blocked or broken pump. My question is: do I need access to the right or left hand side of the machine to examine the impeller/pump and do I need to remove the lid first in order to remove the panel?’ Photos(or links to them) would be appreciated!

Addendum: I gained access to the drain impeller (there is a removable cover in the drain sump) and this is moving freely. The pump is now constantly cycling (3secs on 3 secs off). I have gained access to the water matrix (?) and it looks like there is a blockage at the top RHS – so I am going to attempt to unblock it with a hose pipe. Any further advice would however be appreciated.

Addendum2: Does the inner condensation tube cover pull or screw out? I need to remove it in order to remove the water matrix for cleaning?

Do Bosch use some special sized-heads self tappers on these machines? I’ve tried all my Allen Keys (I have dozens) on them and none fit – closest match is a 3mm. Because of this, I’m totally unable to remove the side panel.
