Re: Rosieres Paul Bocuse access to inside

I will get an engineer to help me with this once I have the parts – do you think probably just about any competent engineer should be able to do this? or do you think it is important to have someone more specialized who has experience with the Bocuse? If you have a mate in Melbourne Australia then please let me know! There are not too many of these units here, they are a high-end item so if I go the usual route to fixing it (through the retailers) they will charge me an arm and leg – I know that for sure

Many thanks for the info which is very helpful – I should have left the wires alone and gone in from the back before removing the element – the element is coming off so I can replace it – the thermostat I thought I should replace as well because I am not sure that the element is the source of the problem – I figure that it is not getting hot (only warm) because either it is faulty, or the thermostat is faulty, i.e. I don’t want to have the fix the appliance twice. I am in Australia so have to worry about time and money in terms of shipping (which is why I only want to do this once) – cheers!
