Thanks for responses I did suggest that the problem could be damp in the shed but the customer was determined that it was not going in the house.
I qouted for a new board and the impression I got was it’s going to the tip if it does it again. 😀

Glad I am not the only one who finds a good home for the supposed scrap appliances .

Miele w/m recovered from scrap pile (1 broken wire at rear of motor)
Aeg 90cm s/s hood Product Exchange never collected by aeg (QER pcb repair)
aeg ceramic touch panel hob new its on nr 3 pcb grrrr
aeg double build under oven new
aeg f/f bargain end of line from aeg
aeg built in d/w got to be the quietest machine I have ever come across then again made me want to weep paying for it even at trade price. 😯

Chris would you be meaning “899645430709/2 y piece filling” not cheap but then again they don’t snap off either.
Its one thing I normally keep on my van along with w/m taps. Me and those plastic y pieces don’t get on had a few snap rather embarrassing to say the least.
