    Sorry just seen your last message. I don’t have a multimeter, I think I’d rather put money into a new drier than spend money on 8 year old machine if it’s not an easy fix. Thank you so much for your time and help much appreciated.

    Hi Dave sorry had to go out. Yes the stat did click. The drier has damp clothes in it every thing working as normal just no heat

    Stat didn’t really click but looks ever so slightly convex?

    I just unplugged and switched back on, it’s running but only cold air blowing out vent

    I think the fourth light down (Dry) is the light that is usually on for the setting we use

    Yes the drum has been turning but the dryer wasn’t heating up
