february has historically been the worst month of the year does anyone else find this as well ?

It sure used to be but since taking on the Dimplex agency I find we manage to keep our end up through the winter months. Lots of storage heater repairs and some good money in fitting replacements too. £50 for the first and £25 for each subsequent in labour, sales or repairs, in each property. Roll on the bitter cold weather.

In defence of the Siamese Cat, mine in particular. Goes by the name of Chow Lee, picks fights with Seddon Atkinsons, loses. Months in plaster and several hundred quids later, is fine. Same date following year, not so ambitious, picks fight with Yammy R1, loses. repeat of plaster and quids fiasco. 376 days after that, takes on Sir Isaac Newton, fails to disprove the existance of gravity and falls three floors onto the quarry tiles in our hall, repeat of Vet, quids da di da……during his eighteen years he has had three spells in the tumble dryer, branded his own hooter on the oven, took a cr4p on the seat of someones (VAT Inspector, we moved) car and been bare back riding on an Alsatian,(spelling?) But never scratched a human being……. or any of our kids. I was a dog man but this cat will eat curry and drink beer, steal Hula Hoops and kill for Garlic sausage. Priceless![/img]

I’m with Neptune, most of the way. Does anyone use Bio diesel in a big way, or LPG. Anyone out there brewing there own from old chip fat. It may be something we could use in our advertising if we did. Could also reduce our cost per call, would be nice to get that closer to twenty quid You hear all sorts of views on speed; “Its not the speed that kills it’s the impact”. Clarkson said that I think, alledgedly! Seems clear to me the advantages of of going a little slower far outway the advantages of a 140mph capable Kangoo. I use the A2, M2, M40, M5 and M42 on a regular basis, this last year I have seen more flowers and footy shirts on the side of the roads than I have seen break downs.

Customer: How much are these brushes?
    Me: £13.99
Customer: What, they’re only £9.95 down the road
Me: Why don’t you buy them for him then
    Customer: He doesn’t have any.
    Me: Blimey he’s expensive then
Customer: How do you work that out?
Me: Mine are only £4.55 when I’m out of stock

In my defence, it had been a very bad day

My wife agrees with Mrs Goatboy, only she didn’t use the word Scrouge and the laughable thing is that the paper is supposed to stop the cake getting burnt on the edges. Does no one like crispy bits anymore

    Alex

I have got me crawl lines and low level lighting attached to the smoke detectors, the clear areas around the doors, muster points and directions for the use of all this in the employee handbook.

I just feel that there is the weeniest bit of piddle take going on here.

I guess the guys do alright, he was explaining his bonus scheme to me. If I told my engineers they HAD to sell two new machines a day and renew five, I reckon there would be times when the truth got a little stretched. As you say there are enough cowboys out there in our trade or any other.

Thanks for the tips, i will try and find a local private firm for next year

Can find two; Basket front bottom 370002403 @ £13.00
    Basket front 398085300 @ £13.00

I assume the second part is for all the baskets/Drawers except the bottom one. I can order and post if you like but would prefer to confirm with Servis prior to ordering, when they are open again. I have attached the part numbers so you can try your local shop first if you would prefer.
Your local man deserves a try.
