I would just like to understand your view that it wreck the motor.
You must have some reasoning for a statement like that?If you have some constructive comments as to why it would do damage, then I think all would like to hear them.

No that will last about 2 months.
At that length they will not flip out.

I have ordered a pair from Ranson Spares, but had to call them as seems impossible to find online with anyone’s site!
They seemed sure they are the right ones for the Haier motor, but let’s see when they arrive.
Their part number was: RS123038
Will let you know if they fit.
Have got it running in the meantime by cleaning the commutator & and freeing up the brushes in the holders, about 5mm of carbon left !

I have a Haier motor HCD63/52a3 fitted to a Hoover HWB 814D-80S.
Where did you end up getting the brushes from?
