The old one has got one wire to connect for the bottom, the new one has two one connects at the bottom the other at the top so I fitted the new interlock and the washer works fine came on straight away brilliant.
Thanks for all your help guys.

    Re: Whirlpool won’t run

    Hi just an update
My new Interlock arrived today, removed the old one from the washer and they look nothing alike the new one has two connectors, white three spade connector on the top of the unit and a brown and black three spade connector at the bottom.
My old interlock has only one three spade connector on the bottom.

Is this the wrong Interlock I have not attempted to try and connect the new one just in case it damages the washer even more.

My washer is the whirlpool Creations AWM 324

    Hi Sparky
Did what you said, the door did move fractionally to the right but still the machine did not run.
    Thanks for the response though.

    Thanks for the response DP
When I switch on the machine press the on/off button the light comes on and the washer door still opens.
