I’ll keep that in mind. At the moment, the machine is working very well and the only real difference to my routine is that I stir up the salt with a long-handled spoon every now and then. Hard to tell but it might actually be using some it.

Thanks, Seamy. there is water in the regeneration tank but perhaps the solid salt at the bottom is blocking up the intake. I’ll make an attempt at freeing it up. I’ve owned the machine for several years and it seems to fly through rinse aid while never consuming salt. I don’t believe that it’s actually used any in all that time. My previous machine, (different brand use to need a refill monthly if memory serves correctly.)
