    One more thing Martin are circuit diagrams available for appliances to aid fault diagnosis? If so how can I obtain them?

    Thanks for the drawing Martin,
    I don’t find these drawings very easy to fault find with, the problem I have is no power to the heater circuit, I replace the board with no result I by-passed the thermostat, nothing, I turned the potentiometer to zero thinking the timer would move on, it didn’t. What else is in that circuit? any ideas

    I sent the email at 15.42 today
    The cables probably were colour coded before they burnt and one pair is longer than the other but the stats can fit in either position

    Thanks again Dave your a genius, the servis tech dvd is another one I’m finding hard to get hold of, I’ve been going round in circles trying to get the SIOS whirlpool one, did you say you could aquire one?

    Also Dave did you get my email regarding the whirlpool AWZ 541 Stats?
    where is the green spot situated at the top or bottom, the old ones were burnt so bad I couldn’t make out which was which, I appreciate info on this one
