Re: Electrolux ESL63010 possible PCB problem

OK this may help someone else. I got to thinking, it was very odd that the machine could start up with the door open so I opened up the front door to access the PCB etc. I also looked at the catch/ door switch and found the problem! Part of the door catch/ switch mechanism had come off its pivot and although the door locked closed the micro switch was not being activated so the machine presumably was not going through any operational checks it may have, so was shutting down after puming out. I managed to get the switch reassembled correctly and it now works. Still think I may get a replacement switch to hopefully ensure I do not get a repeat of the fault. Luckily I did not yet get to buying a new PCB at £140 or so. Or a new machine as per the wifes instructions!
