Thanks for the replies, it appears to make all the right noises – except the usual watery spraying noises of course.

Maybe I’m now faced with a dilemma – since plumbers that I have used in the past, so far in my area charge around £90 per hour, and they tend to charge in whole hours thats £180, plus any money for spare parts. So IF this is to cost more than £200 – maybe I’m better off buying a new one?
(Yes, we live in a disposable society…)
