    Thanks Martin; yes, I found some links on the site here, so ways to clean and de-smell ‘machines. Which? also has some reviews but not as good as the information here.

    It looks like running more than 60C on the WFF2000 requires a connection to both the cold and hot supply taps (we have a Y-piece on the cold pipe) so, coloureds 60C looks like the cycle and we’ll give it a go. Many thanks.

    That’d be, never … ;-))

    The Handbook has a description of first wash; to run a “coloureds 60C” cycle with 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} quantity of normal washing powder in chamber ll (as in normal wash). Is this the cycle you’re referring to, and what is a bleach-based detergent (never heard of it before).
