OK, that is good to know but it means the PCB may not be correctly programmed for the machine any more.

Where can I find the PCB programming information for this washing machine? Who could have this information?

Washing machine: Hotpoint Aquarius Extra WMA44P
PCB: AKO 547004.

Well, it is hard for me to tell if my “playing” involved directly with the microprocessor or eeprom.

My playing involved more or less the following: pressing and holding Rinse and Extra Rinse, with the selecting programme on a specific program. Lights starts to flash, pressing and holding Start, …, Lights went off, … ,turning the selecting programme …, Final Status light going On and Off as the Selecting programme is turned.

Is this playing with the microprocessor or eeprom ?
