    Clive couldn’t wait, so ripped off the side (in a manner of speaking). Microswitch was fine electrically, but looked like the plastic float had come off the spigot. Relocated it and all is well again. Not sure what caused this to happen (although there were quite a few bits of dirt floating) and didn’t have time for a detailed investigation, so crossing fingers. If it happens again looks like I’ll be looking to buy a replacement float unit from this site.

    Hi all
    Haven’t taken it to pieces yet as we have a house-full tomorrow. I guess when you say LHS that is when facing front of the machine? Also is the float switch obvious? (like being the only micro-switch in the LHS) If not how do I find it?
