mildew is perhaps a bit of strong word. more like brown staining which comes off when i scrath with my nail – also, it’s not in the corners where you would expect mildew to be…

just had a poke around in it. there is a bit of ‘brown’ mildewy stuff around the rim of the powder draw but it smells new and plasticy with no sign of detergent.

is factory testing random, or do all machines get it? i just seem to recall that the last machine – the same model – was completely dry. ordered from the same company and arrived a month before…
