    Have sent washing round to neighbours so i won’t run it again! I’ve opened the back flap but everything looked ok. I’ll perhaps try changing the brushes then, is this something i could do myself? I will have a go at most diy.

    Thanks for the advice i will check them out, i’ve had them changed on a previous Hotpoint.

    Thanks for your time. The serial number is 89119087. When i spin the drum by hand it moves easily and there are no unusual noises. I haven’t taken the back plate off yet but will check that tomorrow.
