Ok cheers,

I am not competent but several engineers that I have called won’t come to look at it as say it’s not worth their while.

Guess another barely used appliance is headed for the tip.

Ok… Well top and back are removed and nothing appears out of sorts. Would the capacitator look damaged if that is the cause of the problem or could it still look intact and have ‘blown’ ?
