    I have ordered a replacement, a Samsung RSG5UCRS with free 5 year warranty. I hope this proves more reliable than the vastly more expensive Maytag it will be replacing.

    In that case, is it worth advertising for spares or repair?

    Or are the giants difficult to sell on?

    Seems to be an intermittent problem, works OK for a few hours and then stops.
