    Just to follow up on this I have managed to resolve the problem – I gave some of the internal pipes a good clean out; one in particular was quite clogged so that must have been the issue. After resolving the problem I ran the diagnostic test program again and the 5 lights still flash, so maybe that just means it can’t find a problem?!

    My only slight concern is that, when I removed the bottom of the dishwasher two pipes that feed into the overflow switch came undone before I noticed exactly where they were attached. I’ve reattached them to the switch but I’m not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain I’ve got them in the right position. Anyone know how they should be attached? There seem to be four sockets on the switch (2 each side) but only 2 pipes. As I say, it all seems to be working ok now so maybe I don’t need to worry, or could there be an issue with the overflow switch if I’ve got them wrong?
