Any takers before I assume it’s normal practice?
Thanks in advance,

Hi All,
Thought I’d report back on my findings….
After palming off all my frozens on my Mum & Dad, I removed the inside rear cover (d@mn fiddly snappy bits ) and sure enough, the evaporator was well frozen up, along with the drain hole.
After 21hrs defrost, I cleaned up all the water, dried it out, piped out and checked the drain hole and powered back on.
Temp at reboot 🙂 was +23 freezer and +22 fridge. After 5.5 hrs, the freezer was -18 and the fridge just behind at +8, finally reaching +2 a couple of hours later on.
Loaded back up a further 12 hours later and for a while it held ok at -18, but a little boost with superfreeze was needed for a while.
Seems to have nailed it ❗ ❗ ❗
Many thanks to all for their help in this, and other matters – it is most appreciated ❗ ❗ 😀 😀

Thanks for the additional info.
Not wishing to totally scr£w things up, am I to assume that removing the rear on the inner back of the freezer part is simple to do?
Thanks once more,
KevO
