    Martinthanks anyway but as my first post says I have already replaced the module as this was the first thing I thought of unfortunatly it made no difference, I am really puzzled by this fault??? I really appreciate all the help u guys are giving which has been really helpful so hopefully someone soon will solve this fault .

    I,ll Change the switch selector for the ring ,

    with regards to the GRILL I noticed there is also a thermostat inside the grill compartment at the rear could this be faulty ?
