    Indeed, I do. Definitely recirc. pump. Seems fine out and under no load but noisy as anything when fitted. Replacement ordered. Thanks for your advice.

    Thanks, it didn’t seem so straightforward at first pass. I’ll devote some time and swearing to it tomorrow.

    As a fairly competent (IMO) and time-served electrician for the last 30 years, I appreciate your patience and the absence of sarcasm in your replies… :rolls:

    Could you be just a tad more patronising, if i ask nicely?

    Maybe a simple yes/no is too much to ask for? I think I raised 2 or 3 points in my post… :

    So the rear cabinet “half” is just “clothes”? Seemed to me that half the guts are screwed to the rear case and major surgery ensues to get it off – is that not the case? Is there some sort of internal framework that the bits are all fixed to?
