Re: BFi62 DISHWASHER-CHECKING SENSOR IN DOOR PANEL
I have a hotpoint bfi620. Hotpoint engineers have been out at least once a year from new. Its broke again, eco light flashing, runs for a while, some things clean, then stops. Wasn’t prepared to give Hotpoint any more of my money. I found this forum, it’s not the float switch so seems it’s a heater fault. Tested heater, ok, so its the pcb. Thought I would look just incase something obviously wrong with pcb. Nothing obvious so reassembled whilst waiting for part to arrive. Eternal optimist so thought why not give it a go. Now it fills then empties, lights 1 and 3 flash, then stops. Flashing lights 1 and 3 means either filters blocked or machine is rubbish, cant be blocked filters as they weren’t blocked 5 minutes before therefor machine rubbish qed.
great forum thank for help.
