No humming from the motor – nothing at all – all I can hear is the diverter from the new heater changing over every minute.

I’d be surprised if it was PCB damage as I haven’t been working anywhere near the control unit.

No loose wires that I can see – the motor has 4 numbered tabs, 3 of which are connected, and an earth. As I say, it’s been working fine for the last few days.

Anything else I should check?
