ParticipantHi Dave, after a lot of faff with the first jug I ordered not being sent, the 2nd turned out to be just the board and reed switch, I fitted it to my existing jug and it works a treat. Happy that I’ve saved a good machine from the scrapheap and didn’t have to replace it with cheap crap from china. Thanks again, brilliant advice. Frank

ParticipantThanks mate, that looks exactly what it could be. I,ve taken it off. There are plenty on fleabay stating original part so will get one, and it’s listed as suitable for my machine. The wiring looks ok. Thanks again, I’ll let you know how I get on. Frank

ParticipantThanks Dave, It fills fine and quickly without the float moving. It’s only when it;s full that the float moves up and down and goes into a pulsing fill/ empty so I guess there’s a fault preventing the fill from switching off and proceeding to the next cycle which I guess is the circulation pump. Could it be a fault with the circuit board. It’s so clean inside that it seems a shame to scrap it.

ParticipantThanks, There is a red float that goes up and down about 10mm when it’s filling. It’s very clean and free moving. The whole thing looks like it’s hardly been used considering it’s age. What throws me is that it did pump water through the spinners once but then went back to the pump and empty. If the heating block has gone would that stop the cycle . It fills the sump inside ok but doesn’t pump (only the once) and drains ok when I cancel the cycle.
