ParticipantDoubtful – everything drained and kept dry plus the dishwasher operated perfectly on the first occasion all through the cleaning/drying cycle and then stopped completely on the wash/dry programme completion. No fault lights illuminated .
It was on a second completed cycle that the machine did’nt switch off – leaving the drain pump still going and fault light number 1 flashing.
A possible intermittent problem with a programme circuit board perhaps?Ligger
ParticipantI checked the ‘anti flood’ shut off (attached to the bottom panel with two screws) the float is free and the switch appears to be ok.The machine ran through two complete wash cycles – however on the second – it came to an end successfully – but did not shut off the machine – with a fault code 1 displayed. Any further ideas?

ParticipantOk I think that’s probably the problem – thanks for your help.

ParticipantI suspect that its an intermittent fault ; the float is probably jamming sometimes – how does one access the float?

ParticipantThe machine was totally drained prior to this. Changed the valve yesterday pm

ParticipantI restarted the machine just now and it ran through the wash cycle – draining first – then on to the wash cycle with water coming in with no problem and the detergent flap opening ok. I stopped to open and examine and immediately it ceased circulating water with fault light 1 flashing. I tipped it back wards 45 deg – and no water came out. I don’t believe that any switch was disturbed – however the machine was turned upside down when fitting the new inlet valve.

ParticipantNo the level in the filter base is a couple of cm – as it should be . I’ve had the whole unit upside down to change the inlet valve. For some reason the water inlet cycle is interrupted after 30 seconds or so.

It keeps pumping. I’ve also checked for any blockage on the pressure switch feed – none. -
