Well – it’s fixed 😀 (for now).
The guy who came out said it was the pressure switch that detects the water level (converts air pressure to electronic signals to the board). He didn’t have a spare one in the van, but blew the one that was already in, and off it went.
Hopefully, if it happens again, it’s something I can replace reasonably easily!

Hi Paul.
The pause light just flashes continuously – like it would if you pressed the pause button yourself to interrupt the wash – but you cannot continue with the wash cycle, only skip to rinse.

Zanussi told me to call out ServiceForce – should be called ServiceFarce!
Despite their claim to “Attend same day” if you call before 10am – I have got to wait 7 days!
Also – their website doesn’t work for any OX postcode, and the “Contact Us” disappears into a blackhole! Will update you after Monday’s visit (£45+VAT+Parts for minor repair, £60+VAT+Parts for major repair)!

Cheers.
There doesn’t APPEAR to be a problem, though I will keep an eye on the plug.
The fact that the error occurs at the same point regardless of the program selected makes me think the problem is internal.liv1975
