hi, i just wanted to say a big thank you to all the brilllant electricians/technicians/engineers on this site as by reading through lots of their replies to other people with similar problems i had with my dishwasher, i was able to fix my dishwasher and check and clean other parts to prevent them from causing other problems and i am about to cancel the call out technician/engineer that i had contacted yesterday! once again many many thanks, you guys are brillant!!!!!!! (now onto the hoover problem!!!!!!!). 😀 😆 😀

ok. thank you very much for your advice, and i do understand your reasons for me not to investigate atall,
however i will have a go at a few small things that seem really straight forward and easy, as alot of other people on the site have that probably lack as much electrical knowledge as i do but have not been as straight and thorough as me to ask the simpilest questions first,

hi, i know this probably sounds a stupid question to you electrical proffessionals but if i unplug my dishwasher is there any electricity in the machine?
i ask this because when i changed the fuse in the plug and pluggled it into the plug socket the fuse blew without the dishwasher being switched on!!!!!!!
