ParticipantHello Dave, thanks very much for your support. Glad to report that the machine is now working properly. I found a load of gunk had broken away from the ribbed outlet hose after I’d given it a good beating as you suggested, I thought I’d flushed it all out the first time, but it had blocked the connection under the sink. I will keep an eye on it as I’m sure there’s more bits that will break away. I’m considering removing this ribbed drain hose and replace it with something that has a smooth internal surface, no chance of allowing debris to get trapped and build up over time. thanks again. David

ParticipantHi, thanks for your reply. Yes, I took the Y piece out and cleaned it out, also the short black tube that goes from the Y piece to the vertical plastic tube you mentioned. I’ll have another look. Thanks. David

ParticipantHello Dave, thanks very much for your advice. I did this and I can’t believe how much gunge came out of the tubes! However, the machine is still doing the same, gets to the spin cycle, this time on minimum iron 30 and the same fault happens. I’m sure I’ve cleaned out all the tubes, I ran water through them to flush them out. I also removed the big hose that connects the soap drawer to the drum, there was a bit of crap in there but nothing major. Could I have missed something? Cheers, David
